Cardiff City head coach Brian Barry-Murphy has called for patience from supporters and players alike after the Bluebirds slipped into the relegation places following a 2-0 defeat to Portsmouth on Saturday, leaving them without a win from their opening five Championship fixtures.

"I wouldn't get too carried away by where we are," he said. "As I say, it's still very early in the season. We have to remain calm."
