Cardiff City host West Ham United at the Cardiff City Stadium on Wednesday night, with kick-off at 19:45. The table suggests a gap between the sides, as Cardiff sit 17th on 14 points while West Ham are 8th on 22, both from 13 games. Neither arrives in great shape, though, with Cardiff beaten 3-0 at Wolves on Saturday and West Ham coming off back-to-back home defeats to Southampton and West Brom. In Championship meetings since 1993/94 there is little between them, with West Ham winning three of the six, Cardiff two and one draw. Can Mark Hudson's side close the gap, or will Nuno Espírito Santo's men get back to winning ways?
