Owen writes the analytical end: why a back three stopped working in February, which side lives on second balls, whether a hot streak is built on anything durable. He works from shots, corners, cards and the fixture list, because that is what this division reliably records, and he is upfront that he is not working from expected goals: no free source covers the second tier well enough to quote, and he would rather name the gap than paper over it. He starts from a claim and then tries to break it.
